this. but we should also pay attention to the (f)actual content of the articles. and compare that content to the facts as they are /were perceived at the times the articles were written. the arguments are poor and are all over the place and are nothing but anti-POTUS projection.

one particularly poor piece of analysis is the idea that shiites and sunnis will never be able to cooperate (sunnis can't protect iraqi religious sites cuz muh shiites). now maybe that is currently so, but how did the ME map get drawn and when? and who drew that shit? and to what degree are the religious divisions the result of intentional cabal fuckery? how much of the fuckery got undermined by the SA cleanup? how much more fuckery get resolved by leaving Assad in power (one of the few leaders that had christians, sunnis, shiites and just about whoever living in what could be passed off as almost peaceful conditions.

so on the one hand that shit was fake fake fake. on the other, its a great example of fuckwit reasoning through time the only purpose of which is to cast POTUS in a bad light.
