Huh. One would require a medium like air while the other wouldn’t, but combining the two would still strip 1/2 the signal.
Looking at the gun from the link above, it seems to be a diode transmitter with the gun acting as a wave guide but not sure- would love to see where the wire goes.
OOPs- just hopped back to the article another anon posted on this to finish it and it says it’s a frozen poison dart so the “wire” is actually a tube. No RF involved on that version of the weapon.
