Can someone confirm?

Flying from Norfolk, VA yesterday at 5am and the airport was FULL of military soldiers ( ARMY, National Guard, mainly) Almost the whole flight to DC was full with military personnel. Looking at the other gates the same story. The AA plane to Philadelphia was almost all flying soldiers. I asked an airline employee and an airport employee if that was common (they do see a lot of military there since it’s Norfolk) but they both said that nothing like the past week. The airline employee said that something must be about to happen… is it?
