Apple has specific software/firmware updates rolled out according to the age of the purchase contract. If a guy buys an iPhone for $900 and pays it over 30 months using the service provider for payments, then right around 24 months you’ll notice your battery wearing out faster. And the closer you get to the end of the contract the more anomolies begin happening. So when you get to the last payment or two you’re saying, This fucking phone is a piece of shit. I need a new one. When actually the phone is good, the phone updates corrupt performance and are intended to make you buy new. No secret there, except it’s a crime they get away with.
