The thing with these "slats", though, as any rock/mountain climber will tell you, is that that there will be an immediate market for all types of spring-loaded "chocks" to insert into the slat-gap space which will make climbing the Wall as easy as you would a ladder. Unless there will also be state-of-the-art laser sensors which will trigger sirens and klieg or flood lights, etc., all relayed real time to immediate armed responders, crossing a slat designed fence will quickly become Childs play. I'm sure that there's more to this "slat" design then we're being told.
