Northeast woods anon here. I don't listen to the forecasts but I pay close attention to the animals and the sky. The squirrels this fall were more active than I have ever seen them. Like crazy active. The wooly caterpillars were all black. And the north wind at night is colder than a witch's tit in a brass bra on the shady side of an iceberg. It's gonna be a deep freeze for sure. Not too much snow though. Gonna be too cold for that. Ice, yes.
