Attention Lawfags… I have been wondering about the application of Trump's executive order regarding the forfeiture of property for criminals involved with human trafficking and certain other crimes set to take effect 01JAN19. Would this be applicable to those whose crimes were committed BEFORE the executive order takes effect, or would the order be considered "ex post facto", and therefore the courts would not allow it to be applied to those whose crimes were committed before the order took effect? Much as I would love to see all these scumbags not only sent to prison or hanged, but all their wealth confiscated as well, I wonder if it will be legal to do so.

>>4418086 Thanks, my memory is not as sharp as yours. Yes, I'm talking about the one from December 2017. Still, the question remains, can it be applied to those who committed crimes BEFORE it was put into force?
