Originally dinosaur bones were recontructed dragging their tails, their heads low and close to the ground, and were all thought to live in a deep water swamp. This is due to the fact that land animals, in a one G environment, cannot get much bigger than Bull elephants. There's a very real physical limit.
However the skeleton's bio dynamics show that our current conceptions are far more accurate. That means dinosaurs were land animals. Science has copnveniently forgatten that they are too large to have done so, unless the earth had a lower gravitational pull back then. But that destroys too many more important theories of the universe, so it is ignored.
