Seminar at UN on activities of White Helmets in Syria

New York, SANA- Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the United Nations and the Permanent Mission of the Syrian Arab Republic to the United Nations organized on Thursday an unofficial seminar in the UN under the title of “The White Helmets Activities in Syria”, with participation of Syria’s permanent representative to the UN, Dr. Bashar al-Jaafari and Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzia.

Al-Jaafari pointed out to the negative role of the Western media outlets in misleading the Western public opinion by presenting the White Helmets as a humanitarian organization which carries out civil defense work, while the truth is it represents the media arm for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization.

For his part, Nebenzia said that the Western media outlets present the White Helmets terrorist members as humanitarian heroes, poiting out to the Western media outlets’ attempts to cover up the reality of this terrorist organization supported by some Western countries.

In response to questions from the audience, al-Jaafari stressed that the so-called foreign fighters are terrorists in nature, indicating that the states which support terrorism in the UN Security Council were completely denying the presence of these terrorists in Syria until some of them returned to their countries of origin, including Britain, Belgium and the United States and committed acts of terrorism, which led these countries to recognize what we have been repeating about the nature of the terrorists.

MARIB, Yemen — The number etched on the bracelet around Mohammed’s wrist gave the 13-year-old soldier comfort as missiles fired from enemy warplanes shook the earth beneath him.

For two years Mohammed fought with Yemen’s Houthi rebels against a military coalition led by Saudi Arabia and backed by the United States. He says he tortured and killed people and didn’t care whether he lived or died.

But if he died, the bracelet would guarantee his body made it home.

“When I become a martyr, they enter my number in the computer, retrieve my picture and my name, then print them with the name ‘Martyr’ underneath,” Mohammed said. It would be pasted to the lid of his coffin for return to his family.

DC Think Tank Sues for Records on Bloomberg-Linked Climate Change Scheme

The Competitive Enterprise Institute, a Washington, D.C.-based think tank, is suing the District of Columbia and the D.C. Attorney General’s Office for failing to produce legally requested documents under seven different Freedom of Information Act requests.

The requests date back to Oct. 2016, and relate to D.C. Attorney General Karl Racine’s participation in a 2016 scheme to investigate and prosecute opponents of progressive climate change policies.

The records requests also seek information relating to Racine’s acceptance of a privately funded “Special Attorney General” position with ties to multi-billionaire and former mayor of New York City, Michael Bloomberg.

According to the Competitive Enterprise Institute, each of the seven records requests were acknowledged within 15 days, as required by law. But the release of the requested documents has been delayed by more than two years, “forc[ing] CEI to sue to bring these records into the light of day for public inspection.”

ORLANDO – A Florida man was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for attempted enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity and possession of child pornography. This case was investigated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.

According to court documents, Frank Miles, III, 32, of Rockledge, transported at least 69 videos depicting the sexual abuse of children less than 12 years old to his online storage accounts. State law enforcement officers arrested Miles and charged him with possession of child pornography. While his state case was pending, Miles continued to sexually exploit children, creating a profile on a location-based teen social networking site, and posing as a 17-year-old high school student. There, Miles met a child whom he believed to be 14 years old, and over three days, arranged to meet her for sex. Unbeknownst to Miles, the 14-year-old was a law enforcement officer acting in an undercover capacity.

According to a statement from the Pentagon, the goal of the audit was to reinforce “taxpayer confidence” that their money is spent responsibly. According to figures from the Pew Research Center, only 18 percent of Americans trust that Washington does what is right “all of the time.”

Twelve hundred auditors sifted through financial records spanning the DoD’s massive omnipresence. To put it into perspective, the audit looked at spending on weapons systems, military personnel, and general property — each of which is a broad category for vast amounts of annual spending.

The Pentagon certainly has some explaining to do.

Lockheed Martin is Awarded Contract to Design Homeland Defense Radar in Hawaii

Lockheed Martin was awarded a $585 million contract by the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) to design, develop and deliver its Homeland Defense Radar-Hawaii (HDR-H) in Oahu, Hawaii.

The HDR-H radar will provide autonomous acquisition and persistent precision tracking and discrimination to optimize the defensive capability of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) and counter evolving threats.

“Lockheed Martin will leverage the development of our Long Range Discrimination Radar (LRDR) to provide the lowest risk and best value HDR-H solution to MDA, which includes open, scalable architecture for future growth,” said Chandra Marshall, program director for Lockheed Martin’s Missile Defense Radars market segment.

LRDR is currently under construction in Clear, Alaska, and is scheduled for an on-time delivery in 2020. The system’s open architecture design will enable future growth to keep pace with emerging threats.

The rates now stand at 2.25% and as a result of these horrible and political policies, the Trump economy and Americans’ 401(k)’s are being diminished.

Gilets Jaunes Protests Spread to Canada: Thousands Say NO to Justin Trudeau's Globalist Government

The gilets jaunes ('yellow vest') protests against excessive taxation without representation that have erupted across France over the last month are now spreading to different parts of the world. Recently, there have been similar demonstrations in other European countries, including Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, the UK and Sweden.

Partially inspired by the mass uprising of the people in France, residents of Grande Prairie, Alberta, held a large public demonstration in a downtown park last Sunday. The event was billed as a "pro-pipeline rally", and was coordinated in response to the Canadian government's inept handling of, and interference with, four different oil pipelines that were slated to bring Alberta oil to the world market.

The failure of the government to oversee the successful implementation of even one of the proposed pipelines have lead to record low prices for Canadian oil, with devastating results to the local industry and economy.

The RCMP estimated that "at least 1,500 people showed up" at the rally, but some organizers at the event pegged the numbers of attendees at around 4 - 6 thousand, a historic record for this small city. The gathering was followed by a 600-700 long rig truck convoy that paraded its way through the city, snarling local traffic for over 90 minutes.
