It was a grand jury case, those are brought by prosecutors; I don't think there's any defense attorney involved in a grand jury yet.

A foreign corporation objected to the use of their testimony/documentation (we don't know which) and appealed to the Circuit Court.

Prosecutors want to use the evidence and foreign corporation is objecting; it would be the foreign corp. who has appealed to the SCOTUS.
