Nah. We're not screwing-over Turkey.
They were previously planning on buying Russian S-400 missiles. The day after Trump announced the Syria withdrawal we hear that a huge Patriot missile sale has been approved to Turkey. Not a coincidence. I read this as a way to bring Turkey back into the NATO fold and prevent them from becoming more cozy with the Russians. Russia has long wanted for the country that control their Black Sea fleet's access to the ocean to be within their sphere of influence.
