So I've had Fox News on in the background for a couple hours (because I'm an idiot). But I've noticed they keep mentioning in their government shutdown segments about national parks etc not having full services. But I've heard them mentioning several times specifically Zion Nation Park in Utah. Why mention that one specifically and repeatedly? It is a beautiful place, but there are many others they could focus on, No? Obvious is obvious about the park's name, I guess, but is there some subtle message being delivered there anons?
From Quora-
"The park was originally a seasonal camping ground for the Paiute Indians, but was settled by Mormons in the 1850s who farmed the area and named it Zion, which means "place of refuge". A good name if you've had occasion to visit, because it is a natural fortress and the Mormons who had been driven west by mobs and general persecution, saw themselves as refugees. In fact, Mormons still informally refer to Utah as 'Zion' in the same way Jews view Israel as Zion."
