Hmm… Are you familiar with a movie: "Expelled From Paradise?" It's written by Gen Urobuchi. It's nothing all that groundbreaking or insane in its content, but it's one of the first times I've seen all of the pieces put together in such a way.

2024 stands out in my mind. The era of the civil war was supposed to be 2018-2024. Except there is more than one "EBE" so to speak, and the 2024 event is more nefarious as those arriving expect a defeated humanity.

Though things are a bit jumbled and I am going on my gut.

I would argue that pretty much every device should be considered fundamentally compromised at the moment. It's not "really that simple" - but firmware exploits like Grayfish are one thing…. Then you factor in OSes, programs, and hardware platforms are being developed around advertising/marketing… And then you have China manufacturing everything and altering hardware to include their own exploits.

The question is not whether or not your devices are secure, it is who has the master keys to it.

Working on it.

Won't be able to compete for performance, but I have a process to try out that would allow a much wider array of structures. So, we'll see. I'll post most of what I develop to the public domain. Think Prusa, but closer to a replicator.
