Wouldn't it make sense for Orbis, Steele, Halper, Mifsud, Deripaska, Brower, etc to have banked and laundered through RBS?
They are fighting a subpoena for banking records in Huber/Muellers attempt to track the money.
Whatever money 'Russia' spent on ads in 2016 was likely a false flag and just enough to create some breadcrumbs for the FBI to find as evidence without running the risk of it actually hurting Hillary.
Just like whatever hacking attempts might have occurred was just enough for Obamas DHS to step in and 'protect' state election systems.
If its bank like RBS, the important thing isn't them as much as whose accounts are the US trying to subpoena?
Who would be so important that they would fight it all the way up to the supreme court?
