VPNs fail because you have to LOG IN. Doesn't matter if VPN or not if you log in. If you do not log in, what's the point. I can read twitter but I am banned. I have a "free" vpn, but rarely use it. In short any tools available to us pleebs can easily be defeated by a determined hacker. Not everyone has the time or skill to build a portable linux system or steal bandwidth to be anon. It's why I dont even try to go on the dark web, I'd be hacked in 30 seconds and probably flagged by 100 agencies I don't know exist.
