We are about to enter a Grand Solar Minimum (2020-2055) where the sun's magnetic field activity will be at its lowest over a recurring 350-400 year cycle. Solar cycles 25 and 26 are expected to have extremely low corresponding sunspot activity predicted to result in major worldwide agricultural losses, with the worst occurring during the years 2028-2032.
