Need some extra help on a digg if any anons are able to assist.

Donald Connell, a US Marine Vet has been missing since December 1986. He was 28 yrs old when he went missing from Newport, RI while walking on foot from his parents' house one street over to his sister's house. He was never heard from again.

What is interesting about this case is his family has been unable to secure his military medical records for possible ID'ing purposes. His sister reached out to RI Senator Jack Reed (D), signed a "Waiver for Senate Assistance" per his office's request, but apparently it went nowhere and Reed's office was "unable to assist further". (See sister's comment in comment section from the linked article above).

Donald Connell graduated in 1977 from Middletown High School, the town next to Newport, RI. Guess who else graduated from Middletown High School in 1977? Our favorite General, Michael Flynn.

Connell and Flynn both played sports so it's a given they knew each other and were teammates.

RI is a swamp state, held by DEMS. I find it curious the search came to a halt after Reed got the waiver from Connell's sister. Did Reed come across something he didn't want public? What was Connell's role in the Marines? Was he at the barracks in Beirut in '83? Or a guard at Arlington? Could his role have made him a target? Why did 10 days pass before he was reported missing?

Some online interest in his case:

I've got digg skillz but I've hit a wall…many of you can find and connect the impossible. This might be one of those. It just strikes me as odd that this case has gone nowhere in all these years. Intentional?

Q team, is it possible you can help this family access his military medical records?
