and it gets weirder! The shooter is due to inherit 800k @ age 22. His brother just got committed to a mental hospital by the family housing them. The family wants control of the 800k. https:// nypost.com/2018/02/20/woman-who-took-in-florida-shooter-wants-control-of-his-inheritance/

this 800k inheritance adds a new plot twist. 2 kids taken in to a mobile home who will receive 800k inheritance. Wife is a nurse and presumably has access ( illegal to steal but access) to drugs. Both kids flip out leaving no adult available to manage the inheritance. Were they troubled , future rich kids , fed high levels of added drugs? This couple , if given control of the inheritance, can collect a salary as executor of the estate until the 17 yr old brother they committed turns 22. 50-60k per year would not be unreasonable. https:// nypost.com/2018/02/20/woman-who-took-in-florida-shooter-wants-control-of-his-inheritance/

>>445245 I didn't know they had someone else take them in. This is seriously messed up. A guardian at Litem would be the normal process here not someone who housed them.

it will go into a trust for each kid. Florida Law would not permit that money to be touched unless it can be proven ( which no proof could exist because it is not true) that it was shifted into a trust in order to hide from civil litigation. Florida laws for money protection is solid and not for the good guy owed money

It must be Florida law. I understand your confusion, it caught me off guard at first too, but if there was no will then there were no directives from the mother that the age be 22 .
