In Greek the word PISTIS means Faith or Trust in a higher power. SOPHIA means Wisdom.

PISTIS SOPHIA referred to the Gnostic religion which saw wisdom, i.e. true knowing, as God. When Christianity began, many Gnostics embraced the teachings of Jesus, and some like the Essenes were already Gnostic Jews.

Now, by a play on words in Greek, you get PISCES SOPHIA which means FISH Wisdom. Note the symbolism of the fish in Christianity. The apostles are fishers. Those who preach the Gospel of Christ are fishers of men.

There is another Greek word, Angelos which is widely misunderstood. It meant messenger because these spirits who spoke to the prophets were messengers of God. Moloch, Molech or Malik was a semitic word that also meant messenger, because a prophet who spoke with spirits, was a messenger from God and the people revered him as a ruler. The pagans who sacrificed animals (and humans) called their ovens and altars Molech because they were trying to transform the sacrifice into a heavenly substance, smoke, that would take messages to God above in heaven.

Greek speaking Gnostics saw Wisdom as God. They viewed God as feminine because God moved on the face of the waters, a feminine element, and created everything out of her own substance, like a pregnant woman creates a new human out of the substance of her body. They did not see God as a woman because that is dumb. God is beyond even spirit beings whether you call them angels or saints or gods. The spirit beings are only messengers who are closer to God's Wisdom than us.

To translate Sophia into Hebrew the Gnostics used the Atbash cipher which made sure that a feminine noun in Greek ending in -a became a feminine noun in Hebrew ending in -t. Sophia became Baphomet.

The people who translated that koran into Latin recognized that Mahomet was merely an Arabicized form of the name Baphomet which referred to the Pistis Sophia. So they drew a fish (Pisces) with a beard to represent Mahomet. Those who knew, i.e. Gnostics, would understand that this scripture was a part of the teachings of Pistis Sophia.

To the gnostics, Judaism, Christianity and Islam were one and the same faith. Many people poorly understood it, but they could be taught. With time and education and proper prayer, the veils would fall from their eyes, the truth would be revealed, and they would join the Great Awakening.

Looks pretty normal to me, but was not taken this year. It is a midwinter photo taken on a year when the jetstream pushed Arctic air directly into the Great Lakes which is why from the lakes, eastward, the heavy snow cover is more prominent. It was NOT a year in which a Pacific current was pushing really warm air north because the Seattle and Vancouver areas do show snow cover. It was also NOT the year (two winters ago) when the lava waterfall in Hawaii caused heavy moisture laden cloud to flow into the Pacific Northwest and provide a heavier than normal snowfall. That river of cloud was visible on satellite photos almost all the way back to Hawaii.

Maybe 2010 or 2011.

Would be interesting to contact the makers and track down when the image was taken, to see how close we can come with our analysis.
