Had a little bad luck this weekend - series of unfortunate events started with dead battery. Couldn't get a jump because blocked in. Show must go on, so walked to store for baking stuff and Ubered home. Small talk with Uber driver, told him what had happened. When we arrived to my home, Uber driver hopped out of his car and offered to push mine out of parking space so he could give me a jump. It took a few minutes but we got it started!!! I thanked, tipped when I paid on the app, wrote a glowing review. Made my day!

Baked all day long - ALL of the cookies, party mix, sausage balls, you name it. Waiting for one last package, scheduled to arrive today. Wait, wait…no package by 6. 6:23, email notification that package delivered. Tracking said: Released by Driver'. i check outside my door, no package.

I figure it was a mistake and maybe package the 26th.

But then a bit later, commotion in the hallway outside my door. Then knock knock knock. I open the door to two ladies with their arms full of packages. They say the UPS guy literally just tossed all of the days packages outside the front of the building in front of the room where our mailboxes are. Not sorted, just a huge pile. They saw this, realized that by morning the packages would likely be gone, and not with their owners. So they decided together that they would walk all over two apartment buildings, each with 3 floors and no elevators, and deliver all of those packages. They were so happy, and cracking jokes about getting jobs with UPS – I was already in pajamas by then, and there they were — on Christmas Eve.

What a day — and what a way to start Christmas!! People are amazing, never forget that anons.
