The actor has to be willing, in their mind, to shift points of view (no firm principles), to portray people who are immoral, to entertain ideas they do not believe in, in order to persuade others to accept these untruths as real. I can't watch movies anymore. Been a long time since I could enjoy the entertaining fiction of a movie.
