Anon, the wise men (magi) sought Harod because he was the king of the province. The Magi were Persian astrologers (Zoroastrian) familiar with Jewish prophecy which told of a savior.
Your "god hates astrology" is simply nonsense. The prophets spoke in terms of celestial alignments and cycles of the stars. Revelations is almost nothing but astrology. This was how educated people kept track of time. It was also how they communicated with each other using symbolism to slide beneath censorship.
The book of Enoch was, also, almost nothing but astrology, describing the cycles of stars.
The Church hated astrology because people used it to be smart-asses and undercut the authority of the idolators. If you were an educated person, you were into astrology like many early scientists were into alchemy.
Then you go into some rather odd minutia to try and prove your point. The problem is that the language begins to break down in the manuscripts at this point. "Angel" is "messenger." "Lord" is "king." The messengers of Lord Harod came to the Magi to inform them that the king intended to kill Jesus and to not reveal his location. These were likely the same messengers who came to the Shepherds and had them stand watch (same faction). Joseph and Mary were not your average plebs in society. When they relocated for the census, they would have stayed in family caves used during the time. Knowing that Mary was pregnant and Joseph was a descendant of King David, this faction would have taken measures to see to it that Harod had difficulty killing a child with a legitimate claim to the throne.
I mean - you can believe what you want to, anon…
