yes this is a long term investment for me.

keeps it out of the banks hands and out of my wife's hands. it's not as easy to spend a pile of silver as it is to spend a few bucks out of my bank account since it has to be delivered somewhere and redeemed/sold.

Want to have some hope of keeping up with inflation… right now savings accounts are losing a couple percent ever year.

so far I've been buying equal values of silver and gold.

what is interesting to read is the studies that state that gold and silver are actually undervalued vs the total money supply.

What move? You have silver piled up? I think it's a incredible bargain right now at less than $15 an oz.

Once you figure out how much of the world runs on silver and how important it is to everything in modern life… and that it's being used in consumer electronics and such… then you understand how little of it there really is out there… if just a small percentage of Americans started demanding silver the price would run through the roof.
