I'm with you brother!

I agree with you.

I'm waiting for SILVER to go over $15 to make my move.

There's a lot of resistance just below that level.

And given that he took credit for it going up for two years, it's going to hurt him politically.

Let's see if he can take that anger and focus it on the FED.

It's his (and our) best hope.

Assuming that we go back to a hard money standard of some sort (big if), I think it will play a minor role as compared to the past.

Silver is more scarce and very much needed for industry.

I don't think there are many reserves either.

It will probably be mostly based on GOLD.

>I’d own it for amount due to its potential volatility, but gold for the long haul.

I like your logic.

Silver will be more volatile and would go up exponentially if gold becomes official money again.

>What move?

to buy some more.

Maybe trade a leveraged ETF.

I bought a lot (for a poor fag like me) when it was much higher.

I'm not worried though.

Eventually (probably in the next year or two) it should be making all-time highs.

>I think it's a incredible bargain right now at less than $15 an oz

I'm silver's biggest fan.

But looking at the charts, GOLD has been stronger than silver lately.

If it breaks $15, it will make it more likely that the low is in.

Just trying to be cautious.

I've been burned before.

The anon was saying that IF we were to go to a metallic standard, given the current value of the world's major economies & the amount of currency in circulation, GOLD would have to be repriced about $120,000 per ounce and SILVER to about $8,000 per ounce. I'm sure he can do a better job at explaining but that's my simplistic summary.
