according to a jewish orthodox white house reporter, it is. He says that the move was pushed by the israelis, to move the US troops out of the line of fire in an alleged incoming winter offensive in the area. He also says that the white house didn't deny it.

note: orthodox jews voted primarily for trump in 2016, unlike the sjw "reformist jews" who are primarily progressives.
