As someone else implied, there's no reason to think that Iran or Syria is prepared for an effective counterstrike. This "news" effectively turns that absence into supposedly a reason to believe Suleimani wasn't killed.
No particular reason to believe this story. Maybe he was killed successfully.
My thoughts are not with the "hardworking public servants" who have the safest jobs in the universe, with only occasional delays in paychecks etc.
They should not be the safest jobs. If they're not necessary for a while, they should be laid off, just like a normal business would do.
Government work should be for people like Trump, successful people who want to give back, not people looking for a guaranteed paycheck from taxpayers, while styling themselves "public servants".
