Hey!

A couple points that may help us figure out Mattis.

Check out this article from 2013 and read about him leaving his post: “News of his retirement prompted reports that the White House had squeezed him out of the job early over policy differences. The White House has denied it.”

Sound semi familiar?

Mattis said then Syria wouldn’t survive in a sense without Iran. Is he wrong? Maybe not. Hussein and Obama were at opposite opinions over Syria. And reading this, MSM makes it sounds like Hussein was right and Mattis is disgruntled with his “civilian” boss.

I’m skeptical of Mattis. I’m a vet, involved with OIF and OEF so trust me, I don’t want to be skeptical of him but I also know the true reality of the shitbags involved in the military.

So since many of us are torn of Mattis, let’s take this in a different direction and dig on

Army Gen Lloyd Austin

Mattis’s replacement.

Nothing wrong with being skeptical my frens, so don’t be so hard on those who don’t trust Mad Dog. That’s what makes us special, we are skeptical by nature and question everything.

Yes. And to think for ourselves.

This may be a mirrored situation, which would be interesting. And confusing. Possible mirror of what happened to him last administration.

>Army Gen Lloyd Austin

Statement on ISIS:

“Early in 2014, Obama’s intelligence advisers told him that ISIS was of marginal importance. According to administration officials, General Lloyd Austin, then the commander of Central Command, which oversees U.S. military operations in the Middle East, told the White House that the Islamic State was ‘a flash in the pan.’ This analysis led Obama, in an interview with The New Yorker, to describe the constellation of jihadist groups in Iraq and Syria as terrorism’s ‘jayvee team.’”

Article claims this quote was meant to shift blame from Hussein to the General. Gen Austin denies ever making this remark.

Gen. Austin felt ISIS was much stronger than the admin was portraying and wanted 20,000 American troops in the region to squash ISIS.

It didn’t happen, and he received the blame.

Why wouldn’t it matter?

It’s Mattis! Apart of the admin. Could have or not have a hand in Syria. A hero to many. So ya, whether he’s with us or against fucking matters.
