So what? You can't figure that out? It's DS attempt to keep US forces in Afg. to further their riches. They hate that POTUS is pulling the troops so they've upped their attacks with the hopes Trump will reverse course.

Ya see, this is what I'm saying. Why, on earth, would anyone trust an internet form of money, worth, asset, whatever you wanna call it? Internet goes down….how ya get ya money? Electricity goes out, where are you gonna go to get ya money? I don't gamble but if I would, I would go with the low-odds, safe bet…from the beginning, bitcoin sounded unsafe to me….just MHO.

Good point. Perhaps it hinges on ones definition of "famous". Nevertheless, it's been seen, time and time again, Hollywood deserts it's "stars" once they've gone beyond the desired age. I don't pity them one bit but I can imagine how many past stars feel neglected and foresaken by the very same entity that built them up when they were young. Promises made; promised not kept. It's hard for me to dredge up any sympathy.

But, gold is a tangible thing. On its own, it has worth. It is a malleable metal. It's worth is determined by it's desire (by man). In caveman times, it would still have worth because of the malleabilty. It will have worth, high or low. It's a reality. You are talking about man's worth of imaginary money that man has invented. Doesn't sound like a safe investment to me. Invest in what is real and can be held in your hand. As in: productive metals, land, foods, water rights, etc.

Agree 100%. They are the "fiat" brokers. Ironic thing….I see this and I have never invested in anything…and yet, I see the lies….it's puzzling why investors don't see it. I guess they fall for the bankers narrative…..feeding the Roths.

Ah, I get it….shoot the works for a 1 shot chance of being rich…whine like a baby and blame someone else when it doesn't (and won't) happen.

I must be a horrible, sinful person because I can't conjure up any sympathy for these folks. I suck, I guess.

Gold is a malleable metal. It can be used for many useful things. You seem to be stuck on the bankers mode of gold's value. So, I suppose this…if the shtf, and we are forced to live in extreme conditions, I'll take my useful, malleable metal as opposed to your worthless fiat paper.
