Texas would be its own country for the second time. They have their own grid, and I'm sure they have a plan to get it back up if the other two can't be. They do have some big ass cities, which are the problem. Some of those giant transformers have a 14 months wait in normal times from China and can't even be built here. That is just messed up. Every one of those things should have two backups waiting in storage.

There have to be some folks who don't want the military footprint to shrink on account of their careers alone, and that could be Mattis, but it seems he's been pretty cozy with the globalists.
