Rehab Nurse here… the minimum would be 30 just for surgery and getting on feet. NOW lets talk personalized care… we have to consider her co-morbidity of her age 80+yrs and her 'juvenile diabetes (this means she got diabetes young- so caused damage over years = SLOW HEALER) So with the diabetes and surgery the surgery makes the diabetes unstable. YET she will need MORE care to keep diabetes under control so she will Heal and not get infections or complications. So again NO WAY IN HELL IS SHE BACK AT WORK.
She may talk but not much… but that is not sitting, walking, talking in detail, and dressing herself daily, going to bathroom, or sitting in a court room listening to cases.
