Odd photo posted on Twitter by Hillary Clinton
This evening Hillary Clinton Tweeted a photograph of herself with Bill and (assuming) Chelsea in the East Room at the White House sometime late in their residency there. Im guessing 98-99. Something jumped out at me immediately as odd about the photo, appearing as it had been shopped and was an overlay of image on image.
Saved it.
Looked at it in XnView (Total noob when it comes to using digital image post processing tools)
Still just looks wrong.
Reverse image search it.
Been on the internet 3 times.
Twice today (Twitter/Facebook)
Once on an unsecured Ukrainian language website in 2016.
Google translate has trouble translating the site.
Mix of Slavic and English gibberish.
Now Im REALLY curious.
Started archive.
Attempting manual translations.
My Russian is terrible, so my Ukrainian is even worse. But I still recognize the Cyrillic alphabet and can pronounce words I have no idea the meaning of directly into translator app on phone.
I might have let it go as nothing, satisfied with being certain the image was doctored. But the reverse image search results that lead to a weird Ukrainian website?
Im going back in with some DevTools and my Translator App.
I feel this has gotten a little above my paygrade.
