I've been away the past while so this may have been figured out already.

My theory is that the shutdown will last ten days, until Jan 1st. The democrats have no choice but to accept Trump's border wall, because he owns the senate and already stated that he's signing nothing without his wall.

The democrats can either allow the Republican house own the bill on their very last day, or can be forced to EMBARRASSINGLY defy all their voters by voting yes to Trump's wall on Jan 2nd. They won't want that!

So, we're getting a wall Jan 1st after Ten Days of Darkness.
