There is a misperception of pensions. When McCabe got fired the day before his birthday, it just meant that he couldn't start drawing his pension until a later date. Starting drawing from your pension before age 65 always is penalized.
Not arguing.. pensions are definitely not safe… I tried to buy out my pensions and was willing to take a loss, but my plan does not allow this. I would have invested in silver.
