Looking at Karen Pence's foundation: INDIANA FIRST LADY'S CHARITABLE FOUNDATION, INC. She has two Bush's on the board (secretary and treasurer) Nancy and Brenda. I haven't found a relation to THE Bush family yet. Anyone know of one or want to help me dig? (It looks like Nancy recently passed.)
Also, the Director, Brenda Gerber is head of this charity (quite possibly things are in her name, not Karen's- still searching) she was also Deputy Finance Director for the “Mike Pence for Indiana” campaign and the First Lady’s Chief of Staff. That's not a conflict of interest or anything. Oh! And check out her "real" job: VP of Development for Lifeline Youth & Family Services and Crosswinds Inc. in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Both are non-profits serving troubled youth & families in and outside of the court system. Her most prized accomplishment: "co-founded the Carriage House—a psychosocial rehabilitation facility established to restore seriously mentally ill persons to maximum social and employment functioning."
