This does not only ban bump fire devices, it shreds existing NFA law (unconstitutional anyway) and makes it up to some deep state clown at BATFE if ANY aftermarket trigger sold in the US is subject to being contra-ban (at their whim).

This is because any aftermarket trigger (say a timney or gieslle) can increase a weapons rate of fire by making the trigger pull faster. The NFA law is very specific regarding semi-automatics: one movement of the trigger produces at most one shot. It says nothing about speed of trigger movement. Changing it to some nebulous "increasing effective rate of fire" does not meet the requirements of the law. That kind of abuse can be interpreted to effectively ban all semi-autos.

POTUS can say what he wants to play the politics, but pass that kinda back room executive order gun grab shit, and you aren't my countrymen. I, and more importantly millions of gun owners and ex-mil– will part ways with you.
