The supposed Israeli attacks on Damascus were not.

Someone (Israel or perhaps West Bank origin) was using the cover of that situation to aim for the President's secret plane and another civilian plane (press?).

The air defense that Putin installed recently saved those planes if the theory is correct.

No wonder Trump sounded upset at the end of the Iraq presser when talking about how the plane had to go dark, etc…
