‘Death with Dignity’ Advocates Have Found A Loophole To Legalize It In All 50 States

The Elizabeth Whitefield End of Life Options Act

Like the pro-abortion crowd which found a loophole to legalize the deadly institution via the Supreme Court, the so-called "Death with Dignity" advocates may have found a way to legalize assisted suicide in all 50 states thanks to a recent bill in New Mexico.

According to LifeNews, the New Mexico House Bill 90 would theoretically make assisted suicide legal across the United States by allowing for something known as suicide tourism, where non-residents of the state could visit simply to kill themselves.

"The bill is referred to as The Elizabeth Whitefield End of Life Options Act," reports the outlet. "The most concerning part of HB 90 does not have a residency requirement and it allows assisted suicide to be approved via telemedicine. Therefore, if legalized, Bill HB 90 will allow suicide tourism and legalize assisted suicide in all 50 US States."

Sikorsky and Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA) are providing a first look at a demonstration helicopter designed to fly at twice the speed and range of conventional military helicopters.

The SB>1 Defiant, developed for the U.S. Army’s Joint Multi-Role technology demonstration program, will help inform the next generation of military helicopters. Those next-gen helicopters aren’t expected to enter service until the early 2030s.

Sikorsky, owned by Bethesda-based Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE: LMT), and Boeing developed the SB>1 Defiant with advanced rigid rotor system, agility and maneuverability. Its technology includes a new drive system, active vibration control, retractable gear, space for a crew of four and 12 combat-equipped troops, and a composite fuselage. It is a completely new aircraft, Defense News reported in October, not a reconfiguration of a previous iteration.

It is one of two helicopters participating in the demonstration program. The other, the tiltrotor Bell V-280 Valor from Bell Helicopter and Lockheed, had its first flight in December 2017. The V-280 also promises twice the speed and twice the range of current helicopters, plus integrated cabin armor and room for 14 troops.
