I have to agree that the original Masons, the white hat Masons, do not have a separate God,, their god is the One God of All, of the Hebrews and Christians.
I know it was used as a given name in the ~17th c.
Many Hebrew names are close to names of God. I also found Jabulon is in the Bible and it refers to a descendant of one of the original Hebrew tribes.
