Basically this: concentrations of wealth, power, authority, knowledge/data, religious authority ALWAYS yield corruption, whether intentional or not. No super computer or group of human minds, hypothetical or not, can do better, whether intentionally or not. It is a simple matter of physical limitations, barring access to energy or heat dissipation to unlimited dimensions (but that's all a bit too theoretical). Computation complexity and arimethic has consequences. The best anything can do at the scale of a nation or state is chronism.
The best common good is attained when everyone is able to self-enforce a common law: aka. the law written on their own hearts, rather than national or even state or local officials.
