Hate to say I've seen this more than once.
Q could knock out power without doing any physical damage to electrical devices on the ground. I don't think Q would do that to people like us. This stuff happens more than people think.
Yep. We had two like this last year. Total mess. And if you don't have a spare Tx there, you have to reroute power or get a mobile unit in. Fun times.
