POTUS will back down, and will announce that the Corp of Engineers are building the wall. POTUS is ONLY in this fight to show the Democ-rats for what they are. It will cost the Dems in 2020 as POTUS alluded to in his tweet.

The Democrats have an advantage over Trump, but playing that card will cost them dearly. It is the "power of least interest". The person who cares the least about an issue (IE. the struggle of Americans without a pay cheque during the shut down) has the most power.
