ok guyz digging on the above best i can find is this and its intriguing:

but due south of acca, ghana is british territory of ascension… former RAF base there. closed except vital personnel due to airstrip delapedation.

RAF now staged from St. Helena, but infrastructure in place for staging (falkland island adventure staged there), and NASA USAF tech for tracking reentry of vehicles from space program.

There is still an operation run by SERCO on the island.

Apparently they run shipping, prisons, and other govt privitization services.

it all sounds like good camo if moving people and or holding them for transshipment.

fonefaggin and prefer osm to goog erth. so honestly havent seen much… just checked the local newspaper archives for the islands and found job posting for serco and then dove into what is Serco what they doin there
