In all seriousness, they are primarily reacting to the sudden change of plans in Syria. They had a whole host of wars planned out for everyone, and now the paradigm has suddenly shifted.

All of that "what will our allies think?" … Basically signalling "Israel will not be pleased with this…"

That is certainly possible - yet, somehow I doubt we are going to see such an abrupt course of action at this stage. I could be wrong - that may be exactly why now is the time… But history shows that getting carried away with expectations is a good way to be disappointed.
