The Fed is currently holding 4.5 trillion of our debt
on its balance sheet. The rest is held by foreign
governments, funds or individuals who purchased T-bills.
While I have no problem repaying the Fed in
worthless fiat, we can't fuck the other holders
of our debt.
How would China react if we bought back their 1 trillion dollars worth of
US treasuries with worthless or soon to be
worthless fiat??

that hold treasuries?
