So, this is a good post, but something that gets flubbed often times with these topics is the issue of gnosticism, which is not a religion, or a set of any kind.

It's really a psyop employed by Ireneus to deter people from heresy. But there was never some cohesive gnostic movement that identified itself as such.

Even heterodox sects always identified themselves as Thornley to their mother sects.

Such has always been the case, even with Islam, claiming to be the faith of Jesus and Moses, and Jesus claiming the faith of Abraham, etc.

Or even Joseph Smith claiming the og of Christianity.

But the God of Christianity represented in the New Testament was not wisdom. The only God identified in the Niue said to be the same as that of the OT: the LORD/YHVH: I AM THAT I AM identified on Mt. Sinai in the book of Exodus, and confirmed in the first epistle of John.
