H1N1 is a type of bird flu strain…I think in about 2009-10 most kids under age 11 or 12 were strongly urged to get the vaccine here in the east coast, its a pretty serious flu for youngsters and older senior whose immune systems are either not fully developed or compromised. If that poor journalist died of this its possible she may have been immunocompromised herself. Very sad, only 26.
