Nov 1, 2016 Steve Pieczenik talks about the counter-coup against the Hillary Clinton takeover of the United States, mentioning at 3m40s into video that "Obama leaves without pardon…" So the plan was to prevent an Obama self-pardon or violence. This may also explain why the Deep State was forced into the inept 'insurance policy' it took, rather than direct and decisive action. The were no allowed this option by threat of force (death).

I suspect the plan to prevent the self-pardon worked, but there is also the possibility it did not. Also, remember disinformation is real and necessary.
