Two things.
1) Consider the possibility that this obviously fake crisis actor situation is training the bad guys how to achieve a more "successful" crisis actor situation. One that's harder to figure out. Maybe that's even why they picked the prime guy – because he's so obviously a crummy actor who can't remember his lines.
2) Please consider that next time they might use a genuine minor, not a young "adult". Of course using a minor in such a way would be heinous, but obviously that's not on their radar. Could get anons in trouble tho.
