One of the cabal "escape plans" was to go "en masse" to North Korea when the shit started to hit the fan. Not necessarily the puppets as much as the real movers and shakers behind the scenes.

That way, they'd be completely insulated and protected by the threat of a ground/nuclear war.

That plan has been effectively neutralized.
