Either to draw comparison to Witch Hunt, or b/c WH means something else (White House too obvious?).

I would add that it is helpful to find a common area, especially if related to the person's area of expertise.
A good example:
When they see something that the news is reporting on incorrectly or inaccurately or in a blatantly biased way, and it is obvious because it relates to their area of expertise. Lead in with a gentle "I know, right? It almost makes you wonder what else they are doing it with."
